Urgent help required about vb blogging

Hi, I would like to know, how the blogging platform included with vbulletin is benefitable to a community, apart from interaction within the community members.

Does, it help in SEO of the community forum and does that drive additional traffic, et all.

I'll be glad, if any of the experienced webmasters using this vbulletin license with blogging platform, to suggest, opine and point out the benefits and disadvantages, if any.

This would help me decide about buying this license.

It's hard to say if your members will actually use it. I still like to be able to tell someone to post in their blog if they don't want a lot of grief. And it gives me a place to post about forum updates.

But lots of people now seem to be overwhelmed by things like Facebook and by the time they're done there they just don't have the energy to write blogs or articles.
