I've been running VB a number of years ago so I'm not sure whether the mods I need for my commercial forum still exist. Any help would be much appreciated.

1) Is there a way to turn registration page into a landing page which will tell users why they should register and list all the benefits etc?

2) It's going to be a paid members only forum. What would be the best way to charge new users a one off payment? Can I do this on registration? I remember you could not do this on old versions of VB.

3) I remember there used to be a hide content tag where you could hide certain content from unregistered users. Can you still do this? Is there any way to make the hidden content message contain the referral link of the person who used the tags? For example an unregistered user bumps into Bob's post. Part of Bob's post is hidden. It says: "This content is hidden for unregistered users. Please click here -Bob's referral link- to sign up"

Any existing mods, work arounds or paid solutions will do. I just need to make sure I can do this before purchasing.

Thank you!

Actually yes to all three. They are all possible to do with vBulletin now. 2 & 3 are pretty much built into vb now with the exception of allowing for the person who registers to have to make a payment to register, but there are ways around that. It can be specially coded I believe or they maybe a mod for it still, I'm not exactly sure. There area also a few other ways like adding outside software to work with vbulletin.
