I would be interested in a mod that removes the thread status icons+post icons and replaces them with the thread starter's avatar.

If there is already a mod or template edit available that does this, please point me in that direction.

I could be wrong but wouldn't that generate a huge load on big boards + slow down page load? Not only is every avatar having to be served but it also has to be resized. Unless xenforo creates smaller avatars specifically for these types of views.

There's no reason we can't let the browser resize the avatars and just load the standard sized avatars, no need to make the server resize them.

Looks like someone made a mod for this way back when: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=135891 it's not perfect but it's a good start.
