Opt-Out Of Forum

Is there a modification that will allow a member to choose what forums display for them? I am going to be releasing a new site and some of the content may be offensive to some (hunting) so I wanted to offer the ability to allow those members to opt-out of seeing those forums or seeing those posts when 'New Posts' is clicked.

I have no seen one for vB4. But, there is one for 3.8 so you may be able to just take that and upgrade it.
