Change Blog Url

Hi

At the moment clicking the blog link on my navbar takes me to this link.

http://My-Site/Forum/blog.php

But i am the only one with blog posting permissions & i want it to take users straight to my blog posting page.

http://My-Site/forum/blog.php?1-Lord-Vader

The reason i want this is because i have set up additional widgets on the right of the page to include interesting links etc, but using the main link doesn't show the extra widgets link box i have added.

Please tell me if it can be done, or how do i add extra widgets to the main blog page ?
