hey all,

I am running a Ducati forum over at www.ducati1.de . The domain is quite new as I switched over from the name www.powerwheelie.de a few weeks ago because I wanted the brand name in the URL.

I am running VB 3.8.2 along with vbseo 3.5, which I installed 2 weeks ago.

I have been running this forum for 3 years now. It has undergone many changes, the most recent of making it a Ducati only forum being the biggest change.

Current mods are the DTO Garage plugin, a youtube video plugin and an all albums gallery, which I might ditch since I recently installed the DTO Garage plugin.

I am quite unhappy with the new user registrations and the user activity. Measured by the time I have been running this forum for, I feel it should have been more successful.

What do you think about the whole thing? Is it good, bad, does it lack anything...?

Please give your honest opinions. I can deal with it (I hope :D).

Well, I'm a software engineer and not an artist or a user interface expert or anything, but it does look kind of plain. It could use more pictures an maybe a better style on the main page (whatever "better" might mean).

Also, English :).

ETA: ..like this one (http://www.ducati.ms/), for example: it has some pictures and just looks like it has "more going on" on the main page (looks like it's using vBadvanced).

I wouldn't say there is anything noticeably wrong but as I don't speak or read German this is just an overall opinion of the looks.
