animated gif avatars?

Hi I wanted to know how to upload an animated gif as an avatar on my forums and have them retain the animation. I have checked that all members are allowed to upload animated avatars in my admin cp but when a gif is uploaded, they do not move at all.

If a GIF does not animate, it's either that the image has been auto-resized (which means that the one who uploaded it exceeded your specified dimension limits), or the filesize was exceeded.

Try to increase allowed filesize and/or dimension for avatars, or ask your members to upload one with a lower size or dimension.
