vbulletin mod

Hi,

I'm trying to install a mod where you are able to change the board icons custom i seen some mod its "custom status board icons" but it says version 3.5.1 vbulletin and i am using 4.0.6 vb can someone help me.

And i changed the name of a member on my board but he says he can't log in with his original name only the name i changed it too for him. How can i fix that?

You cannot use modifications from vBulletin 3 on vBulletin 4.

Whatever you change a users' username to, that's what he will have to log in with. This is not IPB, the vB4 software does not support "Display Names."

Well i just went into another forum became a member had my name i signed up with as unknown then they changed my name to mem unknown and i still log in with unknown.

It all depends on the vb 3 mod. I use some mods with vb 4 that were written for vb 3 and they work fine.
