Ok i used Impex to import my 3.8 into 4.0.5 but now i am stuck with having me (admin) and my partner (admin) with 2 different status!? I can see lots of posts that i made as i'm a guest and only the new ones i make are Admin?!? Same for my partner!
Is there a way to fix this?! I used the maintenance to update everything that could be up-datable and i still have the same results
Need some info and help with this pls
Tks guys ;)

It would be better to use the upgrade system rather than Impex.

Yes, there is a way. Use my mod here. It can be used for this situation as well

You are welcome. Glad to see that it came in handy to you :)
P.s. For future reference, it would be much better if you did the upgrade via the upgrader instead of doing it through the Impex system :)

Agree with you but this mean that i will have to reinstall everything from scratch once the v4 is up and running...no?
I'm tweaking the V4 test site for this, don't want to go threw the whole process of redoing everything! :(
There should be a dumb dumb tutorial on that! I would be the first one to read it lollll :)

You don''t need to reinstall everything with the upgrade. Anyway, when the time comes that you will need to upgrade your forum again let us know and we will guide you through. But remember, make first a backup of your db, before doing major changes to your forum. And make sure that the backup is made properly as well.
