[CMS] Any way to promote a thread into an article in VB3? Any add-ons?

...or is this something tinkered with via vbAdvanced, etc? I'm making the dreaded move from a heavily hacked/modified vb 2.3 with 10+ million posts and I want to plan things out

I'm basically looking for something similar to this mod (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=230417) for vb4.

I can also code/modify things myself but I'm looking for a good base to start from :)

I'll reply for the sake of replying but honestly have no clue about this- not something I ever cared to use/try on 3.8... I don't envy the work in front of you though.
