Arcade style broken after upgrade to 4.0.6

Hello,

My arcade style (which you can view here (vocalcafe.co.uk/arcade.php)) broke after I upgraded from 4.0.3 to 4.0.6. How can I get this fixed?

And before anyone says it - I've already checked the Fieldsets have been replaced and that it's not storing CSS as files.

Any ideas??

The administrator has disabled viewing of the arcade for your member group. If you feel this is a mistake please PM an administrator and let them know.

2fast4ya.. all I see is you never changed the <fieldset> to <fieldset class="fieldset"> in your skin_arcade.php file..

I changed the <fieldset> to <fieldset class="fieldset"> in skin_arcade.php but still all is a mess.

I don't see much wrong except you need to remove the last </div> from your arcade template .
and fix the colors in the ARCADE.css

Hi, same problem here. I did the fieldset fix, and that fixed most of the problem. However, I am still having issues with the Navbar and Navtabs.

Import Product your product-ibproarcade.xml and allow over right

WHOA!!! I also just added the security token fix, to my new cofig.php- and it blanked out all of my forums with the internal server error!

security token fix does not go in the config..
it goes in the index.php
as far as sending up the product-ibproarcade.xml
did you allow over write ?
I did this to 10+ ubgraded 4.0.6 boards and it worked every time..
the arcade is not reading your ARCADE.css

Thanks Hippy I tried it and still same problem. I opened the arcade with firefox and it looks fine, so it could be just an IE problem.

But there is some characters at the top of the page:



And I just checked other pages and I see a different set:



I should've stayed with v4.03! :( It was working flawlessly!

What is that?

I am using Tabs vbsporte, would that cause an issue?

vbsporte , I'm not sure with out getting into it .. ..
I seen you post that you have issues with attachments after the upgrade as well..

the arcade.. ( i see you did that nav fix I posted , and the arcade looks correct now did that fix it ? ( you sould do all the fixes I posted )

who does your upgrades ?
who adds mods to your board ?
I posted just about every fix ..
I been through just about ever upgrade gone bad..
I have yet to come accross something that can't be fixed..

turn off all your hooks via admincp..
fix the main problems first .. ( attachemnts) use the tools in the admincp to try and get them back working like they should (Maintenance in admincp)
as long as you didn't save attachments as a file ( and delete them)
they are still in the db..
then turn one mod on at a time and see what messes up the board ,

Thanks Hippy! I do appreciate all your fast response and help. I do all my own work on my board. Yep, little ol' me :)

I did disable all hooks, ect. All problems still existed in default style. I got help from vb.com support with this one tho- first time I have had something I could not fix. It ended up having something to do with the format of the config.php file. I used Textpad to edit it, and that is what was causing numerous issues. Go figure, something like that!

It ALSO did fix the arcade issue. Working flawlessly now.

Just one more problem to fix, the facebook platform and then I am Definately taking a break! LOL (if I can- I am very addicted to this whole thing :p)

I can recommend editplus for editing php files.. http://www.editplus.com/
as I said before you should do the reset of the fixes for the arcade..
they will fix the open <form> and the foot.. etc.. the template as well..

I also noticed the vbadvanced has a <form> thats open with is causing the a little bug at the bottom of the page.. as far as guests not seeing the navbar I fixed that with the fix Brian posted
