Main CSS page is deprecated?

Admin > Styles and Templates > Style Manager > Main CSS (from drop down menu)

Am I missing something lol

Yes you are ;)

use either the stylevars. In that same pulldown or you can just re-write everything in the additional.css in the templates :)
