Pages whiting out in admin cp

When I click save in styles and templates the page whites out, it also does this if I try to run Repair/Optimize tables (but only if I check all).
So then I try to take a look at View php info and I get a white page with this error code
Warning: phpinfo() has been disabled for security reasons in [path]/admincp/index.php on line 1106

I don't know if this is a result from my server going down last night or if I have something installed wrong, I don't believe that I installed anything incorrectly as I haven't added anything in the past couple days.
In regards to my server being down last night even the hosting companies site had gone down too.

Any ideas as to what the problem is and how I can fix it?

I found out that hosting turn whatever off hence the error message but why is it affecting my site and causing pages in admin to white out?

I've had admincp pages just not load.....its really frustrating. you click "submit" on whatever your doing, it does it, then it just stops loading. So, you have to refresh the whole admincp and start all over again.

Bummer. It hasnt done it lately, so i'm thinking my host was being ghey.

Refreshing isn't even helping it's one of those chance situations where it will load the whole way through 1 out of 10 times.

I disabled hooks now I can't get them to turn back on even after deleting the line that I added.
