i need help with my custom navbar here is how it looks like so far..

this is a vbulletin 3.x that looks like a 4.x navbar...

Go take a look at the source code for the vb4 forums and follow that. For instance, you'll note all the navtabs are <a class="navtab" etc> and you haven't done that.
