myNotes 4.0: Gives a really basic and simple "scratch pad" to users to create notes

2) myNotes link will appear in navbar

This is a port from an earlier VB 3.7 version.

Just disable the plugin Navbar Button at process_templates_complete. While you at it, delete the Insert Navbar Link at parse_templates as it was for the 3.8.x series.

Very simple. But nice, and quite useful nonetheless. I like it. Installed. Perhaps room for a little further development of functionality, but I would agree to keep it simple: that's a plus!

Actually, a little To-do list would also be nice, perhaps as a separate tab, and again, keep it simple.

Some questions:
What is the limit of text that user can place here, what if someone saves tons of pages?
Can this be limited in some way?

How to disable that link in navbar, want to make it on my own?

And how/where to translate few phrases such as "my notes", "save changes"...

Found how to fix all mentioned above, in plugins disabled link in navbar, and in templates edited "mynotes" for translation

I have this installed and it is perfect for my forum but for one thing!

Is there anyway some code could be added so there is a Print option.

Either by Selecting All on the Notes screen and right clicking and selecting print, which isn't there at the moment or by a dedicated Print option?

Is it possible sb to create a new updated xml file of this mod giving the some control panel options for example:

1. Create navbar tab or not
2. Create Navbar link οr not
3. Usergroups which will have this mod available for use as some admins may want to allow only spesific usergroup to use the notes (i.e. special members, elite members, donators etc)
4. bb code options for the notes.

If anybody could update this mod will be a available add-on in every forum I think!

With latest version of VB 4.2 pl2 its not working properly, that is with new navigation system in VB

When I crate new tab I use "http://mydomain.com/forums/forum.php?do=shownotes&product=notes" everything is working but when clicked on "Notes" tab I can see notes but all other tabs are gone from navigation bar

Any ideas?

Just for information, if I uninstall this mod will everything be deleted from database as well ?

The weird looks on some styles can be fixed also this way:
In template 'mynotes_add_notes' search for:
<html dir="{vb:stylevar textdirection}" lang="{vb:stylevar languagecode}">
Change to:
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" dir="{vb:stylevar textdirection}" lang="{vb:stylevar languagecode}" id="vbulletin_html">

This is an excellent idea for my publishing site, like a little note pad, people could cut and paste Word docs to get rid of embedded code instead of using notepad? 4.2.1 please???

You mean removed because it doesn't seem to work with the latest versions? We don't do that. But it's marked as reusable so maybe someone will fix and re-release it.
