While I mentioned here (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?357094-vBulletin-3.8.6-Maintenance-Release-Now-Available) that 3.8.6 would be the last 3 series release, we are currently working on 3.8.7
It will be a small release to fix some small issues in 3.8.6 - I don't have an ETA as yet.
We anticipate 3.8.7 will be the last 3 series release.
