How do i change the background image of my site? PLEASE help

I have a picture i would like to use as my sites background but i have no idea how to do this. Will you please explain how? greatly appreciate it.

using ftp I uploaded the image file into images then misc folder and i made sure the pic is gif format.
i clicked on doc_background and inserted this code : url(images/misc/forest.gif)

i was just guessing how to do it myself, but it didnt work, someone pleaase tell me what to do.....

In the dropdown choose StyleVar

Under "Common" Background for Entire HTML Document
Background Image = url(Path/to/image)

So its a small image your forums prob cover the whole image thats why you dont see it

its not small click on it

its not the reason why because i tried on body background too not just doc_background, so i should be able to see the image, yet no!

hahhaha i just figured it out!! forest.gif

i was supposed to capitalize the "f" in forest.gif

wow i did this by myself i i deserve a HUGE reward!!! i talked to someone one here wo is a old time coder and installer and he didnt know...and look at me ! :D wowwwwwww
