New Template/Skin

Hey

I know there may be a lot of threads about this topic but I just wanted to clarify one thing.
I want to create a new skin for my VB4 forum so do I either edit the files I downloaded to install the forum or do I add a new style under the style manager and then edit that in the Admin Panel?

the easiest way is to get your color done with style generator.

Right okay so get the base colour done and then create the other stuff like banner and all the little icons separately?
