Images in Articles on the Front Page

I have looked around in the forums for a solution but have been unable to find one.

I am running vBulletin 4.0.3 and would like to know how I can have images appear in the articles on the front page of the CMS even when I have selected "no" for the oprtion: "Display Full Article in Section Page". I have tried placing images before and after leading text and come back with the same result - No pictures are displayed.

Any help here would be greatly appreciated! :)
