If you are looking for a hack, I would advise you to check at vBulletin.org (http://www.vbulletin.org/) before requesting it, as most likely you will find what you are looking for. This would save hassle for moderators, hack writers, and vBulletin users looking for hacks.

Thank you,
Dennis Wrenn

I have a feeling no one would be able to find any hacks on vbulletin.org, becuase many of the forums have not even had a post in the for 30+ days....

But it would save us all time, if users would take a few seconds and look up, and use the Search feature.....

Oh and Ed, you got a person requesting lockdown, https://vborg.vbsupport.rus/showthread.php?threadid=222

I think I'm going to kill all threads/posts/hacks there and restart fresh -- most hacks are outdated/404s by now.

Cool, and you might upgrade to 2.0.3 :P But be sure to enter the correct License number and password in your profile :D

Not sure how its setup on space at vbulletin.org, but maybe have a hack.php so people can upload the hacks there, and it will interface with the vB db, and people can update their own hacks?

Personally, I think vbulletin.org would be an awesome resource...

Unfortunately for us, Ed is way to unselfish to work on his own project. Instead he constantly sacrifices and put in his time supporting you here and enhancing the vBulletin core.

Well find another vB person thats not a mod, and that helps here with hacks and stuff, there are plenty of qualified people for the job here....

There is alot of talent here with people making hacks, and helping with installation/hacking support. I think it would make a very nice community if put togather, not saying how its done now isn't great, just, a seperate site sometimes give it more legitimacy....

Each hack is actually a forum with a special "ishack" flag -- it's hacked so they don't display on index.php/forum jump. The original plan was to upload files to the server, but I got lazy and it was easier to let authors host them. Uploading files would mean I need to get a way for authors to update the hacks...

How do you set up those hack sub-pages on vbulletin.org?

When I click on one of the 10 Latest Hacks, I go to a gorgeous info page with hack info followed by related threads. How would one set something like that up? I think it might be the perfect way to implement something on my system when I get it running.

Good Job!
