Forums' background and titles fonts change colour when sidebar added

I have changed the colours of the Forums' titles font and background in the home page through the Stylevars, however, as soon as I activate the Sidebar, those colours change and have no relation to the ones changed through the Stylevars.

Do I need to go somewhere else to customize the home page style once the sidebar is activated?

Please, any help?
