Hey all,
I am looking to integrate a shopping cart system to my vBulletin4 CMS/board and was looking for some advice. I would really like it to fit smoothly into the board, and use the wrapper and everything rather than having its own page or section.

Anyone had good experiences with any cart products or know of a solid guide that I can follow to integrate one into my site?

Thanks

Thanks for the response, but can you point me in the direction of a guide or instruction manual? I am struggling to find an easy-to-follow integration solution.

Thanks

Go with icart from vbcover.

Currently, I have OSC Shopping Cart Pro. I believe iCart is for digital delivery of products only. I'm not sure if Zen integrates directly with vBulletin (OSC and iCart do).

I'd really like to find a shopping cart solution for multiple store front. I'd like to allow advertising vendors at my site to have their own store front. So far, I haven't found any shopping cart solution that supports virtual store fronts.

Frank, what is OSC shopping cart exactly? Their website has about 4 lines of info.

I'm looking for a shopping cart that will offer discounts to members based on post counts etc

Oscommerce has been integrated with vBulletin here. (http://www.itvault.com)

You can sell real and digital products with it.

but first of all VB versions outrun this guys versions already he offers 4.03 and I'm on 4.05 and the way it goes will have 4.0.6 within 3 months :>

so with the way he sells lic . its just not practical for my needs so i don't promote it
I'm sure some who need integration do. but i kind of like the in frames method and just use a separate database that way VB versions don't matter. So people have to have two handles and passwords. it still works fine without the hassle of more upgrades on top of upgrades . honesty i doubt i will even reup my vb lic when it expires . this software has been upgraded like 6 times in a 12 months and still has bugs. open source is just as good if your going to be upgradeing every month, and with the template problems of this version some will never get their Boards up to 4.0.5 :>

lets face it vb is no good without the mods , and mods are outdated before you can learn to use them or not supported in newer versions of VB

Thanks, followed all those links but I still think there's nothing out there that what suit.

I must admit I'm suprised I would of thought there would be 100's of REAL stores linked to forum sites that would benefit from giving real life discounts to their custmers based of forum activity etc.

The OSC shopping cart is compatible with the latest version of vBulletin 4.0.5 and 3.8.6.

They do keep it up-to-date with vbulletin releases.
