How can I put a paypal subscription button in a post?

As the paid subscription isn't working in the latest version of vBulletin I thought I'd put the code for my subscription button in a post on my forum.

I can't. I just get the code view and no button.

Can anyone tell me how to do this please as I need an active working subscription button/link as I have a lot of subscribers.

just use a notice or an ad but they both do the same thing :)
