Ok, I bought the software this week and I think I have finally got my site to what I would consider a presentable state.
Let me know what you think. Do you see potential? Starting out, would you do anything differently? I can take my lumps, give me a good honest evaluation.

Thanks!!!

Not too bad aye i like it
but you have set your forums and sub-forums up wrong imo
Same as above, you've set your forums up wrong. If you need any help and advice give me a shout.

Yeah? How would you set them up?
It's the way you have your category and forums set. You just need to have a tinker witty forum manager in admincp. Take a look at ours even and you'll see what we mean. www.the-sps.org

I think I understand. Something more like this (http://www.fpshooter.com/fpshooter/forum.php)
Spot on mate.
You've just got the right amount of forums at the moment too, best to start of with fewer and then as you get busier you can add some more :)

Yes. I am only going to add a couple of more, relevant forums and then maybe worry about adding more if there is demand.
Thank you very much for the input!

You seem to have already made 4 posts, but in hidden forums. That doesn't look good if there are posts made in private forums. Try posting in public forums.
They were all test posts.

Sounds cool mate, but to be honest, header + logo just killed me lol
they look .. wrong ? dunno they just didn't look right with the whole style, I'd suggest adding some action to the header image, try adding some animation into it, u know like sniper stuff its an fps forum after all, or at least maybe reduce the brightness of it cause it really looks very sharp.
Logo too, it's VERY simple.. unless that's what ur after but even if you are I suggest you change ur mind, FPS members are used to high res graphics full colors so dealing with them is a bit harder than regular members imo.
Good Luck mate,
Cheers.

Thanks for the input. I completely agree about the header. However, as you can tell, I am very DUMB when it comes to this stuff. I want a good logo, but to be honest I have no clue how to, or even what (free) program to use to make one. The header that is there right now is simply a place holder. The original header was a nice looking gradient that matched, but I couldn't make a transparent logo. Any tips on how I can get a good logo?

Well, I managed to find a little something. I'd still like to do my own, but this is definitely better. And definitely a better placeholder. Let me know what you think.
