I upgraded to 4.04 and now the facebook connect button is missing. It was there in 4.03.

Doesn't matter since 4.0.3 already had it.

Did for me.

I had upgraded the full package with 4.0.3 but didn't with 4.0.4 and had the same problem as OP.

If that happened then they devs change the code for a few things.

Hence reading the announcement about the changes it probably did. You need to upload all images. ;)
