I would like to put previews of the most recent x blogs on my home page.
The current Blog Widget only puts a mini avatar and a few words.
Pardon my stupidity if this is already possible, but I have searched to no avail....
I would like to have a widget made that would display something similar to the previews of the blog page. Instead of sitting in a sidebar, it would sit in the wider main content area.

Can anyone give me an idea what sort of Bounty would be appropriate for such a Widget?
