My VB was hacked and everyone's passwords

My VB was hacked the other day and the hacker changed everyone's passwords... is there some way I can keep that database and require everyone to reset their password? I dont want to revert to a previous database because I will lose alot of posts and content.

Any suggestions are appreciated.;

sure, mass email everyone with this link, and explain that they need to reset thier passwords. yoursite.com/login.php?do=lostpw
