We are aware that there might be a CMS margin issue with some older browsers (like Safari 4 and Chrome 4). The template is tested and runs smoothly on latest browser versions.
I suggest you update Safari to version 5 :)

Thank you so much for your work! It would be great if you could fix the issue!
We had issues with the forum template export functions. vbulletin 4 keeps reverting specific classes on every export
We 've added the arrow on purpose, just to stick as close as possible to the default. The weird thing is that we 've tested it on 2 different fresh vb4.0.4 installations and there is no similar issue.
Nevertheless, we 'll look deeper in to the matter and let you know.
For the time being, a quick fix - remedy is a right arrow replacement with a blank png.
Thank you for your patience.

Hello!
Great Job! I like it.
But I need al little modification on it:
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/ (http://img44.imageshack.us/i/spacef.jpg/)
The text is begining directly at the border of the textfield. This doesn't looks really good - so I will insert a space between border and text (5-10 px).
Please, where ist the right css definition to do this? In wich container, or waht I have to modify?
Thanks for help,
Berla

Hello Barla,
Thank you for kind words.
We are aware about the spacing you mention. Initially we had this fixed but unfortunately we had issues with some browser versions and since it's our philosophy not to make hard core template edits, we 've decided to leave this intact for the time being. We expect vBulletin to make a better div/styles structure of the CMS in the future releases.
On the other hand, you can try by yourself to give more spacing to your template by changing the width percentages of div.article_preview and .fullwidth in vbcms.css.
Cheers :)

YFZBOB, the background image is the same and we can't verify this bug on our testing or clients forum installations.
Can you provide the link so we can examine it?

Berla,
We 've uploaded a newer, improved version of the template, which includes space between borders, tested OK on latest browsers.

Jinx, I am sorry but I can't recreate the problem you are having. This template has been installed hundreds of times on multiple forums and there has not been such an issue.
Please check that you have uploaded the files correctly and that our latest released xml is properly installed. Maybe you should delete all template files, uninstall the xml and do the whole process again.

I have installed 4.1.1 as start version and never update it yet.
There you can try Take Five, Red Metal and Morbid (another developer) styles. Only Morbid (and the "Default Style" of course) works properly in CMS section.

Dear Undalkeor,
We are terribly sorry but we cannot recreate your problem. We' ve tested it in various new and old 4.1.1 installations and the sidebar seems ok.
Furthermore, the class affecting the specific width is never altered by us on our templates (the default values apply).
Wish we could be more helpful.

Everything works properly if I choose to install default CMS content in the installation process. Problem appears when I choose not to install default content. Just have no ideas about the difference.

Very nice looking. I'm going to give it a run and see if the members like it. If they like it enough I may purchase the branded free version. Good work, very aesthetically pleasing.

Does anyone know how to make the header smaller on this? I love the theme but the whole top section just takes up too much space. I have reduced the size of the image but I can't figure out how to move everything else up.
Thanks.

Hello,
You can reduce the size of the header by altering the height of the .doc_header class that you can find in the vbulletin.css of the Take5 template.
We are sorry for the late response.

Hi Just wanted to let you know I tried it out and I really love it the template , the only small problem I have is in the CMS, I have tried everything to get it working properly, 75x25 is coming out more like 75x75 and the menu and all side tables are equally in size as the content.
Ok I see you don’t have the down load here so I got it on your website 3.0 version.
Did you make a new layout just for your template. Thanks
It was installed on 4.2.0 patch 1, thanks if you have any suggestions. looks great on your demo lol but not mine.

Sure right now it is the layout 2 Columns 75/25 so the content on the left should be larger than the menu on the right should be smaller. i can not get even get two roles of content because the right is always to big.

If i take out the navigation the size of the content remains the same in size, it does not stretch over

Hello,
I think the problem is not the template. You should propably check your settings of your CMS layout. You can change the layout of your CMS through vBulletin CMS --> Layout Manager and set the width of your columns as you prefer.
Please let us know if that was the solution to your issue.
Thank you very much.

Hello,
If you haven't applied any changes in the Take Five template files and stylevar options, you shouldn't have any problem. Please check your forum's Layout Manager for that page from vBulletin's CMS section on your forum's administration panel.
Thank you.

Hello,
I also downloaded the latest zip file of this thread, installed the Take Five xml on a fresh vBulletin 4.2.0 installation, set my homepage's grid layout options similar to yours (1 column on the left of 160px width) but I don't see any problem.
Please re-download the zip file of Take Five (you can also try to download the zip with a different browser) and check if the installation of the style completes successfully.
Thank you.

I don't know... I deleted style from admincp, I deleted take5 from images too.
I upgraded my vbulletin to PL3 and I installed take5 one more time. Still the same problem...
I installed take5 on my another board - there everything is OK (attached).
Any idea where I should search wrong settings?

Maybe the problem persists on your content. Try
1) Different column widths
2) Smaller images on the CMS
3) Unpublishing articles in the problematic page until you find the one that causes the issue.
Let me know if this worked.

Hi,
Please check on your forum's section manager (AdminCP/vBulletin CMS/Section Manager) the number of the columns that have been assigned to your forum's front page and then check your home settings through the vBulletin CMS/Layout Manager.
If that doesn't work, try to import the default vbulletin-grid.xml file through AdminCP/vBulletin CMS/Download Upload Grids.
It looks like something has changed your grid's configuration.
Thank you.

Hello,
Are you sure that you are modifying the homepage layout? Please edit the default home layout or reset your grids.
Other than that, I am sorry but we can't really understand what is going on in your board. Something has messed your forum's CMS grid or layout manager and it is impossible for us to pinpoint it without actually digging at your installation.

Very nice style and I plan on getting the fluid one here shortly. I am using v4.1.12
One question though: I am using Forum Live Feed & User Wall by DragonByte Technologies and everything works fine but one thing:
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/
The hyperlink to the posts doesn't highlight (different color). It does on the threads though, just not on the last posts. I am not sure if this can be fixed by a simple stylevar change or not - I am not sure where to change the color so the hyperlink stands out.
Thanks.

Hello,
You just need to remove the lines below from the additional.css of the Take Five template.
Code to be removed:
.toplinks ul.isuser li, .toplinks ul.nouser li{ background-image:url(images/Take5/elements/navbar.png); background-color:transparent; }
.toplinks ul.isuser li a, .toplinks ul.nouser li a{ background-image:url(images/Take5/elements/navbar.png); background-color:transparent; }
.toplinks .logindetails { background-image:url(images/Take5/elements/navbar.png); background-color:transparent; }
Then, find the stylevars toplinks_background and toplinks_color of the Take Five template and choose a white background color and another text color for your Welcome label.
Thank you.
