modcp help

My modcp does not show any custom mod options. Example I have yet another rank system, and yet another award system and neither of them show the award.php or rank.php in the modcp. However if you visit the page without first viewing index.php in the modcp directory it will show the page if your logged in. Any ideas or suggestions that would get the links to show in the left column?

Are they supposed to show there? If so, you should be asking in the modification thread for help with getting it to show up there.
