I just coded this for my own forum and thought to submit it here in the hope tha other users might find an use for it as well.

Anyway, this hack will allow you to exlude groups from flood limit.

Installation: upload the includes folder to your forum root folder and then import the flood_gids.xml file inside the mod package to Plugins&Products in the Acp of your forum.

After you install it, go to your Acp->Usergroups->Usergroup Manager->{ Chose the group that you want to be exluded from the flood limit->Click Edit Usergroup} and under Post / Thread Permissions, you will see a new setting that says: Exlude From Flood Time Check Limit, set that to yes.

How will this work if you want to add more usergroups and include them, too?

After you add the extra usergroups, just make the same edits as for the other groups. i.e. Usergroup Manager->{ Chose the extra group that you created and want to be exluded from the flood limit->Click Edit Usergroup} and under Post / Thread Permissions, you will see a new setting that says: Exlude From Flood Time Check Limit, set that to yes.

Ok, the reason I was asking is because I saw the bitfields file and I thought that was just for the usergroup numbers, which it only went to 7.

Hello, I uploaded the files and installed the XML, but I'm not finding any option to make changes in my AdminCP.

vB version 4.1.5 PL1.

Installed but like said it seems that nothing change on VB 4.2, could anyone have a look at it please?
