4.0.2pl1
Asset Manager disabled

The default appears to be 10 but with a 32Mb connection I would like to be able to shove more up at one time. Like 20. I found what appears to be the control in Options but is that all VB4 will do?
There has got to be a way to get around the default cap of 10. And I don't want to use the asset manager. It creates thumbs you can't get rid of.

Any ideas?

You can set limits for every usergroup in

usergroups >> usergroup manager
Attachment Permissions

Space (in bytes) that a user's total attachment usage may consume
(Set to 0 to not have a limit)

That's not what I'm asking. When you disable asset manager and you click on upload pictures from inside an album, you get the old 3.8 style upload manager. Browser, select, upload. It's set to 10 images at a time. I want to have more than 10 at a time going up.

So you mean "Attachment Upload Inputs" ?

I think we're now on the same page but just in case not, here's a screen shot.

Adding more than 10 a time can hurt your server if alot of people are doing this that is
After you upload 10 you can open the box again and upload 10 more etc...

Too add more than 10 a time you need to use the new Vb manager

I was doing 20 at a time on 3.8. I hate that asset manager thing. It's garbage. The thumbs never go away. It's too easy to lose track of where you're at when uploading.
Thanks any way. I'll be signing up at your place later today.
