Impex problem

I have been trying to import my old database (vb 3.7) to a new version 4.0.3. I imported successfully but there is just 1 problem that my old board used Vietnamese and now its cant display the correct font.

I have done research on this and on some other forum support people says that its because of charset. I have been changing back and forth between UTF8 in impexconfig file but now luck.

Please help me out.

Why import? Why not upgrade from 3.7 to 4.0X? you should not have to import your forum at all if you are going from one vb to another vb.

Have you read the contents of the thread?

Even impex has its own forum on vB.com.

Using Impex is not recommended when upgrading your forum. (Read this many times on vb.com)

Yes it does, are you a moderator now? Geez all I did was try and help someone out to answer a question. Its a pretty good bet that the person who posted did not know they did not have to use Impex to upgrade their forum.

you should use the upgrade.php script, not impex to (upgrade)...
