Because, sometimes, we just don't have the time to do so. :)

Sometimes they share something they did just to be nice, but they don't have any time to support it. Hopefully they then mark it as unsupported, but sometimes they don't. Also, don't ever expect that a developer is going to monitor a thread here 24/7. Sometimes they get around to viewing the thread just once a week or so. It's still supported, just not instantly. If you need to fix NOW, then your best bet is to uninstall it and wait until the developer can answer your question.

Bryan,
You have been around long enough to know how things work. You have started similar threads before on this topic. Please do not fall back to your previous mistakes.

i can tell a lot about this, i released 60+ mods here some months ago and indicated that they were unsupported... and people continue to ask me in the threads if i could support them... tsss... lol
it's not the same for everybody, people can get a time when they are unable to provide support because of real life, or real abandon of interest... we never know.
code is available for usage, you can still ask someone else for support... this is a community where people share and support voluntarily.

Would you please just stop asking random people, including staff to help you?? Every post you seem to make is questioning how to install modifications, asking people to help you run your forums etc. If you don't know how to install mods, styles or run a forum yourself, then I can honestly say that you should really not be running forums until you have actually read manuals about them.

I would like to add that not all mods are marked unsupported, there are authors who support thier mods for months after they release them. Hell, the Links and Downloads manager mod author supported his actively mod until he died.. So tarring all mod authors with one brush isn't really the best way to go.
The people who do not have time to support mods, they mark them unsupported, and if you can't work out how to install it without support, don't install these mods :)

You are not a moderator here, so I suggest you stop making posts like this, otherwise you will suffer the same fate as at vb.com.

I don't mind being banned at vb.com really. I can't stand to be banned here though.
