Mod or Tutorial on editing the menu bar?

It's all a bit baffling, the navigator code. Is there a tutorial or mod anywhere to make it a bit easier?

I don't know of a singular tutorial on just the navbar, but if you have specifics on what you would like to do, maybe someone can offer help.

I made quite a few 'adjustments' to our navbar and it did take a while to get the hang of it.
