I created an ad using the advertising tab in 4.0.3. Well, I deleted the ad, but it remains on the forum...... anyone know why this might be?

Maybe a caching system or VBOptimise?

Well if you trust me enough to take a look you can PM me your site details and set me up with a temporary admin account. If not, hopefully someone else can come along with the exact issue.

NP I understand completely. I hope you can find out what the issue is.

me too, but so far no dice

to add an update

i reverted the header and headerincld back to default, but the damn banner is still there.

definitely seems more of a cache issue. is there anyway you could walk me through fixing or verifying if it is or not, josh?

Have you tried clearing your browser cache and cookies?

And don't be so bashful. If we can't look for ourselves what else can we do? Also, please explain why you think this is related to a modification you have done (since you're posting here instead of at vb.com)?

I had it happen to me also once, you dont know what i had to do to get it to stop but at he time i also have the ads freaking out coming over into my logo
if i remember right it was a set of flash ads i had made, and it was the top navbar ads spots

anyways have you tried to replace the ads? with anouther one try to over write it?

got it, somehow i had over looked it the first 20 times or so

apparently the string was stuck in the stylesvars in default, which is why it didn't remove it when i deleted it. now, i have no idea how it got in default

thanks for the help everyone

i didn't mean that i didn't want anyone to look at the site, i meant i wouldn't give any temp admin accounts. i thought it was because it didn't happen until i made some ads on the site.

thank you all for your help though
