Attachment upload failed

I've sent the changed in attachment manager to the largest that they can be, i can upload files of 1.5mb, but quality pictures from a decent cam that are 3mb upwards don't take.

I've been searching admincp all day trying to fix this, does anyone know how to sort this out on a relatively new installation of vb4,
