Restrict forum untill x posts?

Hi,

is there any way to restrict a forum to only allow postings when the users already has made a number of posts? I have a buy/sell subforum and many people only create an account, post 1 sell offer and will never be seen again. This is not the community I want. :(

Create a usergroup based on registered.
I have mine named registered30 because certain functions are disabled for 30 days.

Then edit your permissions for registered so they can't post in specific forums.
Create a promotion after x posts, move to registeredx.
Those will be your previous registered permissions.

There is a how to thread on vb.com. I'm too lazy to look for it. Sorry.

Try this, I'm quite certain there is one for 3.8 if your using that.
