Limit Attachment Downloads

I have tried to contact Abel to see if he would upgrade Limited attachment downloads from 3.6 to 4.x But i have not received a response yet, and it has been a while. ( And I offered to Pay him also)

Problem: I have all Info and Links added to txt attachments to stop people from doing a "site rape" It seems to be trendy to rape your site and post on their own site. I use Marcos1 must reply before you see attachment and when I see a members name pop up in in top 10 stats 20 times, I know they are rape-ing the site and when I catch them, they are set to miserable. What is needed is to limit the Number of attachments to download in 18 or 24 hours to stop this nonsense. Since Abel seems to have abandoned the 3.6 mod, I really need this Mod made for 4.03 unpaid or paid. Limit attachments by post count won't work because of the Morcos1 Mod Must reply to see attachments.

Can anyone help with this Mod? last update on this Mod 2007?

this Mod also has to stop the open with notepad and the option to download in x amount allowed in x amount of hours.

Example:
5 allowed per 18 or 24 hours with Editable reason why the limit.

Example:

you have reached your Limit of attachments for this 18 or 24 period. Become a V.I.P to have unlimited attachments. etc.

Abel has finally sent a response and is willing to update the Limited attachment Mod, out of respect for the Author, I can not hire out to have this updated as Abel said he will update it.

I appreciate all the PM's but most of all I appreciate Abel's response to update the mod. If anyone uses this Mod to safe guard your site from those who rape your site, please consider donating to Abel in appreciation. :)

I just finished going through the mods for VB4, and there is already a mod in there for this.
It limits the # of times a member can download files from your forum per day.

Unfortunately I don't have the time to sift through the 20+ pages again, but if you go through it page by page you'll see it. :)
