Sounds quite interesting, and in this case it's a pity we went for the CMS index.php + forum/index.php setup. Wouldn't it be possible to detect the path a user is on, and then use that in addition to the page identifier itself?

Actually I have another modification for the cmps. Maybe the combination made it work perfectly.
