When upgrading to 3.8.5 do you remove the mods and then add them back in?

When you upgrade your vbulletin from 3.7.4 to 3.8.5 do you go in and remove the old mods, then update them with the new ones? Example, if I have cyb-chatbox for 3.7.x, do I kill that, then download and install 3.8.x?

Honesty i just upgrade and then go threw the site to make sure everything works as intended.

Most hacks for vB3.7 will work on 3.8 without problems.

I have a lot of 3.7 or 3.6 mods working on my 3.8 vB forum.
Even if they don't work take a read of the mod thread and there are always work arounds.
