for user profile, you just change the $threadid with username :)
and add it on the memberprofile templates

Great idea.

Am I right that BOTH links (i.e. http://domain.com/showthread.php?t=14210 and http://domain2.com/14210) would work at the same time?

this addons just for SHORTCUT if you SHARE on TWITTER and FACEBOOK or other website
like bit.ly or some short url

its too long if you share this url in Twitter
example : visit https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/newreply.php?do=newreply&p=2027333
how about : visit http://vbullet.in/293842 << so simple

im using this addons for few month
and not affected to my SEO on Google :)

$threadinfo[threadid] change {vb:raw threadid}

$threadinfo[threadid]
change
{vb:raw threadid}

this for all My code i have use and editing just short ulr and working
<fieldset>

<center><b>short : <a href="http://shortdomain.com/{vb:raw threadid}"> http://shortdomain.com/{vb:raw threadid} </b></center></fieldset>

i think u'rs code for version 3.x.x cos i look on version 4 not found on Template: SHOWTHREAD
and u can add before
<li class="popupmenu" id="threadtools">

126699

this working for Standard URLs

How do you install this. Does the php file and .htaccess files go on the account with vbulletin or on the alternate url.
Here's what we're looking at. We have 2 vb forums, 1 less active so we have combined the posts, users, etc to the bigger forum. But we want to give a section/catagory the same look, feel URL as the old "smaller" forum. We've got the skin fixed, just need to figure out how to re-write the url so it reads out YYY.com/forum/AAA instead of XXX.com/forum/AAA, any idea if this mod is what we want/need?
