Well not everyone per se, but a large majority of members.
I have it set up so usergroup A graduates to user group B upon reaching certain criteria.
I want usergroup B to have limited moderating abilities site wide.
Mainly the ability to sticky threads, and soft delete stuff.

The option i see would be to make that group into SuperModerators, but im not sure if i could limit the moderator abilities enough if i do that.

Anyone have any suggestions, maybe a plugin that helps in this area?

Basically you just want to create a new user group and give it the perms you want. But I don't know how easy that's going to be, depending on the powers you want to give them. i.e., some permissions are spread around - many are in the usergroup, but some are down in Forums also. It's probably not as complicated as it looks, but I'd try it with one or two test accounts before I go handing it out to hundreds.

Ive been trying, but i cant get the permissions down right.
For example i want allow them to delete, but not permanently delete.
And you cant seem to do that by usergroup.
At least not using the usergroup options.

And if i make them all supermod group... they are also allowed to prune posts, cant have that.

There must be a way though.

What you do is to make most of members just add them to a usergroup that is super moderator.

Once that is done go to Forums & Moderators>Show all moderators>(User) Edit permissions and ur done :D

But that would entail editing permissions on a per user basis, right?
I have way too many members for that kind of job, and members would be constantly graduating into the position.

Is there maybe a plugin of some kind that lets you more finely edit the privileges of a mod on a group level instead of a single user level?
Maybe a value i can change in the admin cp to allow the same type of editing on a per group level instead of a per mod level.
