I managed to make it so my forum (www.melodymania.com) was active but users could not see the home page (i.e. content from the CMS) unless they were a moderator. Now I have content ready to go, but I can't figure out how to turn it back on so the home page is public.
Anyone? :o

permissions, you need to edit them , I had the same issue until I fixed those.

Thanks. Your reply actually led me to the answer, although we were thinking of different things. My permissions allowed everyone to read, but there was nothing there for them to read.
I had to go to vBulletin CMS->Section Manager and publish the section I wanted.
