I asked this question over at vb because I expected to get an answer at the place where I bought the product but, no one has answered. So, I'll ask here.....

I need guidance on how to set up my home page with columns (side columns). I found this article (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/content.php?182-CMS-How-to-get-a-layout-like-vBulletin-com) but it just doesn't make sense to me.

Does anyone know of a simpler tut or guide for those of us with fewer brain cells?

That is if you have the vbcms. i.e. the suite license. If you do, then follow the guide there as it is very detailed.

I think Don's series of articles is better. http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/list.php/author/259494-Don%20Kuramura .

e.g. Managing CMS Section and Content (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/content.php?93-Managing-CMS-Section-and-Content)
