Hi Guys,
Trying to speed up the abortion that is vb4.0.3 and one of the guides mentions trying to store the css as files.
I've got attachements/images etc like this but what worries me is I remembering seeing a post ages ago (forgot to bookmark it) that warned people not to do it as it would break a lot of the plugins/addons for vb4
is this correct and so not advisable to do?
Thanks
Lynne

Try it and see. If you are worried about a particular mod, then go read the thread and see if this has been mentioned.

Yeah. It's the click of a button - vboptions > style & language settings > Store CSS Stylesheets as Files? > Yes or No > Save

Thanks Lynne you're a star for helping everyone out.
Sorry to sounds disrespectful to the product in my original post as it's just frustrating installing it on your live site when you have no real idea how it will cope with lots of posts or 20+ people online to find out it runs like a dog and you're losing users hand over fist to rival sites through no real fault of your own as you trusted a company knew what they were doing :(
EDIT: That was set to yes already... :( So much for hoping that would make a difference to the speed then! :(
