problem after upgrade !!!

Hello

after upgrade to 4.0.2 pl 4 :

1-one member report me that he cant login to forum , i change it and test it but this problem is not solve

2-my admin password in this test changed and i cant login to it , even from phpmyadmin and change password from database and USER table .... it is not work now ,

3-when every body want to Register to site this problem is show on page :

1 - did you run the upgrade_402_salt.php script like instructed to in the announcement for the patch?

2 - you can't change passwords in phpmyadmin. this is probably related to 1.

3 - that is from a modification. disable the mod and the error will go away.

1-yes i run it ? But only show one step and it was complete

2- what i can do for give admin password now?

1 - you just now ran it? Then any users who were new since you applied the patch or changed their passwords since you applied the patch will have to reset them.

2. create new users. Upload tools.php to admincp. Run it. Reset admin permission for the new user. Login. Reset password for old admin.

all of plugin and hack is disabled in my forum , but we cant register new user

did you disable the modifications through the config.php file?
Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php

define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);

Did you modify the Welcome PM text? Please put the text back to default and then see if you still have this error.
