stop a member from deleting post/threads?

i dont want to change it for a whole usergroup just want to stop a certain member from deleting their post/threads

is there a way?

to what exactly? its just a regular member and i still want him to post and have the privaleges other members have just not the choice to delete post or threads

Create a copy of the usergroup he's in and set the permissions of post deleting to off. Then when you don't want a user to delete his threads/post simply move it to that usergroup.

Create a new usergroup which cant edit/delete their own posts. Move him to that.

the default settings for "Registered Members" have them set to be able to delete their own posts.

Just go to admincp>usergroups>registered members>uncheck "able to delete own posts"
