BB Colours not working?

alot of the colours on my forum for the text are not working the only ones that are working is red, blue, green and a few others..

when i try to select ie. dark purple this is what i get: placetexthere [COLOR]

Does anyone have ay idea as to why all my colours are not working?

if you want help, with BBcodes,

you could as a MINIMUM
post the BBcode's html itself,, clearly the bbcode is wrong.
If its ewen there..

admincp > costum BB codes > code manager

find it on the list,
and show us the content of the replacement box.

Are you using hex codes for the color palette in the wysiwyg editor? I found you cannot use the Hex color codes in the wysiwyg editor palette. You have to use the 147 named colors (http://www.december.com/html/spec/colorsvg.html).

When I tried hex codes it produced [COLOR="rgb(75, 0, 130)"] placetexthere [COLOR] when the color is picked.

It would be great if they'd change it so Hex codes could be used. Better compatibility across browsers and a whole lot more colors.

im not using a custom code its the stock ones..

since the update only a select few work, i.e. red, blue, yellow, green..

the darkyellow, darkgreen ect do not work when i select them it wraps them in them rgb numbers as shown above..

i may have done something to a template or a file in the directory by mistake when doing the security update.. but i am un-aware were to look..

my bb code manager is empty.. i have not added any bb codes..
