Ads to show in navbar in forums

I have the following (very long code) to show certain openx zones in certain forums (in which there are hundreds of)

The location that they want the ads, has to be in the navbar template... there has to be a way to narrow this down and possible speed things up as I know this can't be good....

btw this isn't all the code but there is a limit of how much you can put in post
