Any help with either of these is much appreciated.

#1

Can someone help me with figuring out how to add a banner after the 2nd post in each thread ?

The Ad Template - ad_showthread_firstpost

Automatically places an Ad after the first post in each thread.. But I need it to do to it after the 2nd post....since doing it after the 1st post usually results in the banner appearing very close to the Global banner than appears just underneath the NavBar.

#2

How to make a column along the right side (widget/block) of the FORUMDISPLAY & SHOWTHREAD pages ?

I would like to put my 160 x 600 skyscraper ads in those 2 sections.

Nobody ever replies to help anymore...big change from a few years ago.

I'm willing to pay $5 to have both my questions answered.. I think this is the route were going to have to here...eventually. Because people seriously don't care to answer anymore.

And i'm serious about the $5.

#1: No.
#2: I don't know.
You may not like them, but there are two answers to two questions.

I turned off the banner under the navbar when I put them under the first post. Or maybe it was when I installed the chatbox. At any rate, too many ads and people will just block them. You can always post a suggestion for a hook there over at vb.com.

Lots of people have put ads in the forum sidebar. I've never wanted to do it so I've never tried, but I've seen a lot of them over in Rotating Banner System (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=188328) . Then they disable the collapse button, thinking this will force people to see the ads.
